This project aims to develop scalable and robust humidity sensors for harsh conditions. These sensors will monitor humidity at elevated and varying temperatures.

Main Challenges:

• Ensuring sensor functionality across varying ambient temperature conditions
• Adapting sensing solutions to different appliances
• Durability of the sensor in the harsh environment

Research Topics:

• Design and fabrication of humidity sensor
• Exploring the best concept and materials to be employed for the sensor design
• Evaluation of sensor performance under environmental conditions
• Development of low-cost, scalable manufacturing processes for sensor integration

• The development of humidity sensors that can be embedded in the different appliances, providing valuable data to enhance the user experience of household products.
